SyncPocket App is built local-first, so there is very little to write here — and that's the point.

Data controller

The app

  • Your clipboard history stays on your devices. The current release stores everything locally in the app container on your Mac or iPhone and excludes that history from device backups. iCloud sync keeps your Mac and iPhone in sync through your own private iCloud account — never through a server of ours.
  • No accounts. There is nothing to register, so we hold no user database.
  • No telemetry, no analytics, no tracking. The app sends us nothing — we don't know what you copy, how often you use the app, or that you use it at all.
  • Best-effort confidential-content filtering. On Mac, SyncPocket App skips items marked via the org.nspasteboard convention and apps you exclude. Because the source app supplies these markers, this is not a guarantee that sensitive content can never be stored.
  • Reminders stay local. Item reminders use the device's notification system. Lock-screen copy is deliberately neutral and carries only the stable item identifier needed to open the correct detail view; copied text, URLs and images are not placed in the notification body.
  • Deletion and recovery. You can clear the history in the app. Deleted item blobs are removed locally; a last-known-good metadata backup may temporarily retain item metadata until it is replaced by a later valid save.

This website

  • syncpocket.app sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers.
  • The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse — see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
